This is the instructions for the Cine Kodak Model B camera with removable f.1.9 lens. Published by the Eastman Kodak Company in 1928.
It shows everything needed to know to operate and shoot film correctly with the Cine Kodak Model B. This booklet also applies to the fixed lens version of the Model B because they have identical film path designs.
Please note that if you plan to shoot with one of these ancient cameras you will need a Neutral Density filter in front of the lens! Film stock back then was in the 4 to 8 ASA range. Modern film (as of 2016, the year of this upload) is 100 ASA and up.
You will need to cut down the light going into the camera with the ND filter and use a light meter to successfully shoot with a Model B.
This booklet was scanned in color at 600 dpi and retouched by correcting the skew and contrast levels. Moire patterns were removed from the graphics one photo at a time. These files were combined into a PDF file that was used for this upload.
Over three hours was spent on making this the best looking version to date. Please do not remove the book mark.
